A hack of 24XX for a Company of sellswords who take contracts, do the job, and live with what it costs them.

Twelve classes. Nine species. One roll resolves whatever you attempt, no spell slots, no stat blocks, no bookkeeping beyond what fits on an index card.

The Company itself is the thing that grows: reputation, hired hands, reach, and coin, spent and rebuilt one job at a time. Comes with a bestiary and generative tables for finding work, so you're playing within minutes of opening the file.
