Just a clarifying question on the rules for monsters--it looks like in the monster section they give suggests for dice for the successes it takes to defeat one, d6-d8 for a weaker monster and d10-d12 for a really tough one or something.

Are these expressed in dice because they're intended to be rolled to determine how many successes are needed? Or does expressing them in terms of dice have some other intention I'm missing (like that they're meant to be stepped down or something)?

This game is so good! And the articles you wrote in the development log are a must read. I really like seeing your thought process and how it changed your game for the better. 10/10. I cannot wait to play this with my friends now that my own play-testing is over and I will definitely be continuing my solo game. It's replaced Kal-arath as my go-to Sword and Sorcery game. (Not dissing Kal-arath of course. Great game.)

Kal-Arath is such an excellent game! Flattered you considered the switch!

This is super cool, but would you be able to make a low-ink version without the brown background texture? :)

Sure thing! Later this week, though. Currently afk
